Commercial slush machines are found in many convenience stores around Canada. They should not be confused with juice dispensers which are only used for juice, whereas commercial slush machines are a much more powerful units made for making smoothies and slushies. Because they are more powerful they will be a much higher price compared to the juice dispenser, but do not be tempted to make slushies with a juice dispenser because it will not be powerful enough. These units are small enough to fit on your countertop and are easy for self-serve use. The compartments are measured in litres because this is the most common way of measuring bulk beverages. To convert litres into gallons just remember that there are roughly 3.8 litres in one gallon.

One final feature to consider when purchasing a frozen drink machine is the overall dimensions. This will let you know if it will fit into your desired location. Also the dispenser height, because this will tell you how tall of a cup is able to fit underneath the dispenser.
